The Donkey

 You're the average of five people you spend time with. That means, if your so called best friend is someone who suggests watching a few extra episodes of your favorite series when you clearly have to knock your brains for your exams next week, then you better let that lazy bugger go. No point hanging around him. On a long run, he's gonna slow you down. No mercy.

The chameleon

So you met someone who complimented you more than ever. You're​ flattered and you believe that he/she is the sweetest person in the universe. Then one day you get to know about how that awesome person bad-mouthed you after you left. The next time someone compliments you, just smile and be happy. Don't lose your shit and get excited.
