BAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION CREW DESTROYED A FOREST

The Bahubali crew destroyed one of the most delicate forest ecosystem in Kerala.

One of the locations for Bahubali 2 was Kannavam forest in Kannur. The crew shot in the parts of forests that was preserved carefully, not even the tribals were allowed to walk through those parts as the forest floor had such delicate ecosystem and once ruined it takes around 70–80 years to reach its previous state.

It will be a matter of pride for all movie enthusiasts in Kerala to learn that certain scenes of ‘Baahubali 2’, which is the sequel of ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, will be filmed in Kannavam forest in Kannur district.

Currently, location crew of the upcoming movie is busy constructing an ‘ancient temple’ which would be one of the major shooting sets in the forest for Baahubali 2. According to reports, movie cast of Baahubali 2 along with its director S S Rajamouli will be present at shooting locations inside Kannavam forest from January 20 onward.

Location crew under the leadership of Art Director Sabu Cyril are learned to be keeping up secretive nature of the movie as the arrangements for shooting are underway.

Many movies including Pazhassi Raja were filmed in the forest. Meanwhile, settlers near the forest fringes are hopeful of seeing the Baahubali starcast like Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Thamanna and Anushaka Shetty in action during the shooting.

Reports claim that some of the major scenes in the movie would be filmed in Kannavam forest.

Well this is the latest picture of the place!

The forest floor is no more. Heat winds blowing. Herds of Sambal deers left. When a gigantic crew and their vehicles overtakes a delicate forest,someone has to suffer.
